Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Voltbridge platform at thevoltbridge.com and related services (the "Platform"), operated by Voltbridge Technologies Private Limited ("Voltbridge", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in India (CIN U62099PN2024PTC230786) with its registered office at SH No 7, Ganalaxmi, Heritage 262, Nana Peth, Swargate, Pune City, Pune – 411042, Maharashtra, India.

By accessing or using the Platform you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. The service

Voltbridge is a B2B directory connecting buyers and suppliers in the electric vehicle (EV) industry. Suppliers create or claim their company profiles (company info, products, contact details), and buyers register to search and browse them. Most profile information is provided by users directly. For some companies, we also compile supplementary profile information from publicly available sources using automated and AI-based tools. Voltbridge only provides the directory and platform. Any dealings, contracts, or transactions between buyers and suppliers are solely between those parties. We are not a broker, agent, or guarantor and are not responsible for the performance, quality, legality, or payment of any such dealings.

2. Directory data and accuracy

You acknowledge and agree that profiles compiled from public sources or contributed by users may be incomplete, outdated, or contain errors. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing. We do not independently verify all public or user-provided data and are not responsible for verifying it. You should confirm any important information directly with the relevant company before relying on it. A profile's presence on the Platform is not an endorsement of that company or its products. If you are the subject of a profile, you may claim it to correct your information, or request its correction or removal under Section 6.

3. Accounts, subscriptions, billing, and auto-renewal

3.1 Registration. To use certain features you must register and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account, and must notify us of any unauthorised use.

3.2 Plans and fees. Premium features are offered on the subscription plan described on our Pricing and Subscription Terms page. Prices, inclusions, and the billing cycle are as stated there at the time you subscribe. We may change prices prospectively; changes do not affect the current paid term. Premium plans are currently available to suppliers based in India.

3.3 Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. By subscribing to a recurring plan you authorise Voltbridge, through our payment partner Razorpay, to charge your selected payment method for each renewal.

3.4 Recurring payments and RBI e-mandate. Recurring charges are processed under an e-mandate set up via Razorpay in accordance with Reserve Bank of India (RBI) requirements for recurring transactions. You will receive a pre-debit notification at least 24 hours before each scheduled charge; transactions above the RBI-prescribed threshold (currently ₹15,000 per transaction, subject to change by the RBI) require additional authentication each time; and you may modify or cancel the mandate at any time through your account or your bank or Razorpay, which stops future automatic debits.

3.5 Cancellation and refunds. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term. Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

3.6 Taxes. Where Voltbridge becomes liable to charge GST or other taxes, these will be added and shown on your invoice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to: post false, misleading, defamatory, or unlawful content; violate any applicable law or regulation; upload viruses, malware, or harmful code; send spam or unsolicited messages to other users; scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract data from the Platform except as expressly permitted; harass, abuse, threaten, or harm others; infringe any third party's intellectual property or privacy rights; or upload others' personal data without a lawful basis.

5. User content and licence

You are responsible for content you submit (profile information, images, documents). You retain ownership of your content and may edit your profile at any time. By posting content you grant Voltbridge a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, use, reproduce, and display it for operating and promoting the Platform. You represent that you have the right to submit the content, that it is accurate and not misleading, and that it does not violate any law or third-party right.

6. Corrections, takedown, and notice of objection

If you believe a listing contains incorrect information, infringes your rights, or includes personal data you want removed, email info@thevoltbridge.com with the profile URL or identifier, the specific information at issue, and the correction or action requested. For intellectual-property or rights complaints, include enough detail to identify the content and your rights, and a statement that your complaint is made in good faith.

We will review valid requests and, where appropriate, correct, restrict, or remove the content within a reasonable time. We may retain records of requests and decline requests that are unlawful, abusive, or not made by an authorised person. This process is in addition to your rights under our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

7. Intellectual property

The Platform and its content (text, graphics, logos, software, trademarks), other than user content, are owned by Voltbridge or its licensors and protected by law. You may not copy, distribute, or use our intellectual property without our prior written consent.

8. Privacy and cookies

Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data, and our Cookie Policy explains our use of cookies and analytics (including PostHog). By using the Platform you acknowledge those policies.

9. Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Voltbridge disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that listings are accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither Voltbridge nor its affiliates will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Platform, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise. Subject to the paragraph below, Voltbridge's total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Platform will not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid to Voltbridge for the service in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) ₹1,000.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct. The above cap does not apply to your obligation to pay fees when due, or to liability arising from your infringement of intellectual property rights or your indemnification obligations under these Terms.

You agree that you will not bring any claim relating to the Platform personally against Voltbridge's directors, officers, employees, or affiliates, and that any such claim will be made solely against Voltbridge.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Voltbridge, its directors, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and reasonable expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

12. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access without prior notice if you breach these Terms, engage in unlawful activity, or threaten the integrity or security of the Platform. On termination, your right to use the Platform ends and we may delete your profile and content, subject to our retention obligations. You may close your account at any time by contacting us; see the Refund and Cancellation Policy for billing effects.

13. Intermediary status and grievance redressal

Voltbridge operates as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 in respect of information, listings, and content provided by users or compiled from third-party public sources. We do not originate such third-party information, we do not endorse it, and we are not responsible for it. Consistent with the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, we publish these Terms and our Privacy Policy as the rules and regulations governing use of the Platform, and we require users not to host, display, upload, publish, or share any information that is prohibited under those rules or applicable law.

If you have a complaint about any content on the Platform or about a breach of these Terms, you may contact our Grievance Officers, Nanda Sumatilal Firodiya and Ujwala Chandrashekhar Patil, at info@thevoltbridge.com, Voltbridge Technologies Private Limited, SH No 7, Ganalaxmi, Heritage 262, Nana Peth, Swargate, Pune City, Pune – 411042, Maharashtra, India. We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and endeavour to resolve it within 15 days of receipt, in accordance with applicable law.

We will remove or disable access to information that is unlawful, or that we are required to remove under a court order or on notification by an appropriate government agency, within the timelines required by law. Nothing in this clause limits your rights, or our obligations, under our Privacy Policy or the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

14. Force majeure

Voltbridge will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations to the extent caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including acts of God, natural disasters, epidemics or pandemics, war, terrorism, riots, government action, changes in law, power or internet outages, or failures of telecommunications, hosting, or payment providers. Affected obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any non-waivable consumer rights, the courts at Pune, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date and, where the changes are material, take reasonable steps to notify you. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

17. General

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and Pricing and Subscription Terms, form the entire agreement between you and Voltbridge regarding the Platform and supersede any prior agreements on the same subject.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.

Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms to an affiliate or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
