Li-Cycle is a leading lithium-ion battery recycling company with operations across North America and expanding globally. Founded in 2016 in Canada, Li-Cycle has developed a proprietary hydrometallurgical recycling process that can recover up to 95% of critical battery materials (including lithium, cobalt, nickel, and copper) from spent batteries and manufacturing scrap.
