USA Rare Earth, Inc. is building a fully integrated U.S. rare earth magnet supply chain. Established in 2018, the company controls the Round Top heavy rare-earth deposit in Texas and is developing a major NdFeB magnet plant in Stillwater, OK (planned 4,800 t/yr capacity). In early 2025, USA Rare Earth achieved a milestone by producing its first batch of sintered neodymium magnets at its Oklahoma “Innovations Lab”, which it touts as the only scalable neo-magnet manufacturing system in the Western Hemisphere. The company has secured raw material partnerships (e.g. with Australian and domestic suppliers) to ensure feedstock while its mine is being developed. USA Rare Earth’s vision is to be a leading Western supplier of high-performance magnets and critical minerals, serving EV, renewable energy, aerospace, and defense sectors. By onshoring mining, processing, and magnet production, it offers customers a secure, traceable source of magnets made to strict quality and security standards.
